# Managing Live Bank Feeds

Once a client's live bank feeds are connected, you can disconnect or delete them at any time from the Banks tab.

## Disconnecting a bank feed

Disconnecting pauses the live sync without deleting the bank account or its transaction history. All previously reconciled transactions remain in Ezyiah. Use this if a client needs to temporarily revoke access, or if you need to reconnect with updated credentials.

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Deleting a bank account

Deleting a bank account permanently removes it and all associated transaction data from Ezyiah. This cannot be undone, so only delete an account if you are certain the data is no longer needed.

<Note>
  You can only delete a disconnected account. Disconnect a live account first before you can delete it.

## Setting an account as Cash at Bank

The three-dot menu on any bank account also has a **Select as Cash at Bank** option. This sets up the account for the client's balance sheet, and it appears there as the Cash at Bank account under account code **701**, showing the account's balance.

<Note>
  Balance sheet setup and how it connects to entity types is covered in full in the Balance Sheet section of these docs.
