## Reading the report

The report opens with the client's **Company Name**, the **Reporting Period** covered, and who it was **Prepared By**.

Each asset gets its own section, named after the asset, with two rows of figures covering the same underlying numbers from slightly different angles: **Total Cost**, **Opening** value, **Acq Cost** (or Acquisition Cost), **Acq Date**, **Total Value**, **Rate %**, **Type P/D** (prime cost or diminishing value), **Dec in Value** (or Decline in Value), **Private %**, and **Closing** value.

At the bottom, a summary bar shows **Total Assets** with the count of assets and their combined value, any **Disposals**, and the **Total Claimed for Depreciation** across all assets for the selected financial year.

<Tip>
  Use the zoom controls in the top left to adjust how the report displays on screen, and click **Export Report** in the top right to download it.
