# Using Ezy Actions
> Search, navigate, and act anywhere in Ezyiah without touching the mouse
Ezy Actions is a command bar that sits on top of every screen in Ezyiah. Instead of clicking through the sidebar to find the client, the section, and the button you need, you open Ezy Actions, type what you want, and press Enter. It gets you from thought to action in one step, from anywhere in the app.
## Opening Ezy Actions
Press **Ctrl + K** (Windows) or **Cmd + K** (Mac) from anywhere in Ezyiah, or click **Ezy Actions** in the sidebar. A search bar opens with a list of actions and clients underneath it, ready for you to start typing.
## Jumping to a client
Type **@** followed by a client's name to bring up their record. Once a client is selected, Ezy Actions shows every part of their workspace as a searchable list: Basic Info, Opening Balance, Chart of Accounts, Banks, and more. Pick one and you're there immediately, no sidebar navigation required.
This is the fastest way to jump straight to a specific client's BAS, or into their Banks tab to check a live feed, without leaving whatever you were doing.
## Taking action without the mouse
Once a client is selected, the **Actions** list updates to show what you can do for them right from the command bar: **Add Bank**, **Add Loan**, **Add Asset**, **Add Opening Balance**, **Add Journal**, and more. Select one and the relevant dialog opens immediately, ready for you to fill in and save.
For example, typing **@SKS Contractors**, then selecting **Add Loan**, opens the Add Loan dialog for that client directly. No clicking into the client, finding Loans in the sidebar, then finding the add button. Three actions become one search.
## Everything else, one search away
Ezy Actions also covers the things that aren't tied to a client. Search for **Add Client** to start a new client from scratch, or find **Profile Settings**, **Manage Subscription**, and **Logout** under Settings, all without leaving the keyboard.
Use the arrow keys to move through the list, **Enter** to select, **Tab** to jump between sections, and **Esc** to close. Once you're used to the shortcuts, Ezy Actions is often faster than clicking through the app at all.
