# Signing Up

> Create your Ezyiah account and set up your professional profile

Creating your account takes a few minutes. Have your professional details ready, along with your Registered Tax Agent number or professional body membership if you hold one.

Every new account starts with **1,000 free reconciled transactions**, and you do not need a credit card to begin.

## Step by step

  <Step title="Create your account">
    Go to [app.ezyiah.com.au](https://app.ezyiah.com.au) and click **Get Started for Free**. Enter your professional email address, or sign up with Google for a faster setup.

  <Step title="Verify your email">
    Ezyiah sends a 6-digit code to your inbox. Enter it to confirm your email address and secure your account. Check your spam folder if it has not arrived within a minute.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your details">
    Enter your full name, company name, phone number, and date of birth. Your company name is used for billing and account records. Phone and date of birth are required for identity verification and account recovery.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set your professional profile">
    Select your location and professional title from the dropdown menus, then indicate whether you are a Registered Tax Agent or a member of a professional accounting body. This sets up compliance features such as BAS preparation correctly for your role.

  <Step title="Tell us how you found us">
    Let us know how you heard about Ezyiah. It takes five seconds and helps us understand which professional communities we are reaching.

  <Step title="Set your password">
    Create a password of at least 8 characters using a mix of uppercase letters, numbers, and symbols, then enter it twice to confirm. This is the password you will use every time you sign in.
