Client-Specific Notes

To manage unique accounting requirements, utilize the Notes feature. This allows you to document specific "quirks" such as a client using personal funds for business fuel - ensuring that any team member managing the file has full context.

Step 1: Access the Client List

Your main dashboard displays a complete list of all active entities. From here, you can quickly identify a client and see their high-level status. To manage a specific client's internal records, look for the Notes Icon (the document symbol) on the right-hand side of their row.

Step 3: Documenting Important Information

The Add Note screen provides a clean text area for you to type in reminders, client-specific accounting rules, or follow-up items.

  • Pro Tip: Use this to record things like "Client often forgets to include toll receipts" or "Exclude private vehicle usage for this entity." Once you've typed your note, click the blue SAVE button to save it to the client's permanent record.
