Client Notes

Client Notes let you store important accounting context for each client in one place. Anything your team needs to know about how a specific client's accounts are coded, handled, or reviewed lives here so nobody has to ask twice.

Step 1 — Open the Client Menu

Hover over any client in your sidebar and click the three-dot menu that appears on the right. Select Edit to open the client's Business Info page.

Step 2 — Open the Notes Panel

The Notes panel sits on the right side of the Business Info page. If no notes have been added yet it will show No notes yet. Click Add Note to create your first note for this client.

Step 3 — Add Your Note

Give the note a name and write your description. Use this to record anything relevant to how this client's accounts should be handled.

Good examples:

  • "Client uses personal card for business fuel. Code to Motor Vehicle Expenses."

  • "Quarterly BAS. Three active bank accounts connected via live bank feeds."

  • "Exclude private vehicle usage. Business use is 60% only."

  • "Client often forgets to include toll receipts. Chase before finalising TPAR."

Click Save and the note is attached to the client's permanent record.
