Auto Sync Subcontractors

Ezyiah's AI scans your reconciled transactions to automatically identify subcontractor payments and create subcontractor records for you. This saves you the time of adding each subcontractor manually.

Step 1 — Open Subcontractors

Click the Subcontractors tab in the top navigation bar. If no subcontractors have been added yet, the Add Subcontractors screen appears with two options.

Step 2 — Click Auto Sync Subcontractors

Click Auto Sync Subcontractors. Ezyiah immediately begins scanning your transactions to identify subcontractor payments. The button updates to show Syncing Subcontractors... while the AI is working.

Once complete, a success notification appears in the bottom right corner confirming how many subcontractors were extracted.

Step 3 — Review Your Synced Subcontractors

Ezyiah creates a card for each subcontractor it identified. Each card shows the subcontractor's name and ABN (if detected from your transactions). All synced subcontractors appear on the Subcontractors screen.

From here you can run Auto Sync again at any time using the Auto Sync button in the top right corner, or add a new subcontractor manually using Add Subcontractor.

Step 4 — Edit a Subcontractor's Details

Auto Sync creates subcontractor records from your transaction data, but some details may need to be filled in or corrected. To edit a subcontractor, click the three-dot menu (⋮) on their card and select Edit Info.

The subcontractor detail page opens with the following fields:

  • Business Logo — drag and drop or browse to upload

  • Business Name — the trading name

  • Legal Name — the registered legal name

  • Business Type — select Business (Not Sole Trader) or Sole Trader

  • ABN — the subcontractor's Australian Business Number

  • Email — contact email address

  • Phone Number — contact phone number

  • Address — registered business address

Update the fields as needed and click Save in the top right corner.
