Ezyiah generates a Balance Sheet report from a client’s reconciled transactions and opening balances, broken down by financial year.
1

Open Reports

With a client selected, click Reports in the left sidebar to expand it. This reveals every report Ezyiah can generate for that client, including Balance Sheet alongside Business Activity Statement, Profit & Loss, Trial Balance, General Ledger Summary, Transaction Report, Depreciation Schedule, Taxable Payments Annual Report, and EOFY Statement.
2

Open the Balance Sheet report

Click Balance Sheet in the expanded Reports list. Ezyiah generates the report for the client and loads it on screen.
3

Filter by frequency and financial year

Use the Frequency selector in the top right to set how the report is broken down, and the Financial Year selector to choose which year to view. The report updates to reflect both.

Reading the report

The report opens with the client’s Company Name, the Reporting Period covered, and who it was Prepared By. Below that, the Summary of Amounts breaks the balance sheet into its standard sections, starting with Assets. Within Assets, Current Assets lists each account with its account code and balance, such as Comm, PAYG Instalments, Cash on Hand, GST Receivable, Stock on Hand, and Work in Progress, followed by a Total Current Assets line. Non-Current Assets follows the same layout for longer term holdings.
Use the zoom controls in the top left to adjust how the report displays on screen, and click Export Report in the top right to download it.
This page currently covers the Assets section of the report. The Liabilities and Equity sections follow the same layout and will be added here once screenshots of those sections are available.
