Setting Up Live Bank Feeds for Business Accounts
Under the Consumer Data Right (CDR) Open Banking, some banks require businesses and other non-individual account holders (such as trusts) to appoint a Nominated Representative before they can share data.
A Nominated Representative (also called a delegate) is an individual within an organisation who is authorised to manage and share CDR data on its behalf. The process varies by bank — some offer online registration, others provide in-app options, and some require a paper or digital form.
Business bank accounts can have multiple users including payroll, staff, and administrators. To connect a live bank feed via Open Banking, you need to grant specific users the access privileges to share data on behalf of the business. Once set up, any user with the appropriate privileges can share access to the business's data with Ezyiah.
