The Ezyiah Assistant is a panel you can open from anywhere in Ezyiah. It shows your recent reconciliation activity in real time, and it’s also where you upload statements for a manual bank account.

Opening the Assistant and viewing activity

1

Open the panel

Click the Ezyiah icon in the bottom right corner of the screen. The panel slides open showing your recent reconciliation activity, with an Upload File button at the bottom.
The panel is draggable. Click and drag it to reposition it, and it will snap to either the left or right side of the screen.
2

Review recent activity

Each entry shows a file or bank account name, the client it belongs to, and its status. Completed entries show Reconciliation complete along with how many transactions were reconciled. Click an entry to expand it and see the full activity log for that upload: every stage it passed through and how many transactions were handled at each one.

Uploading a file from the Assistant

1

Start the upload

Click Upload File at the bottom of the Assistant panel.
2

Select the bank

The Select Bank panel opens. Choose the bank account this statement belongs to, searching by name if needed. If the bank isn’t listed, click + Add New Bank to add it before continuing. Click Next.
3

Upload your files

Drag your bank statement files into the upload area, or click browse to select them from your computer. You can upload up to 10 files at a time, in CSV or PDF format. Each file appears listed below the drop zone with its name and size. Once everything is added, click Save.
4

Watch it process

The Assistant panel shows progress in real time as the file moves through each stage: uploading, transactions saved, reconciling, and completion, with the transaction count updating at every step. You can navigate anywhere in Ezyiah while this runs in the background.
Once reconciliation completes, the new transactions are available in Chart of Accounts, ready for review.
