Adding Live Bank Feeds

Connecting Live Bank Feeds

Live Bank Feeds connect directly to your client's bank account and pull transactions automatically every day. Once connected, Ezyiah reconciles every new transaction in the background so your books stay current without anyone touching them.

Step 1 — Open the Banks Tab

After adding a client and saving their details, Ezyiah redirects you to the Banks tab automatically. If you are returning to an existing client, click the client in your sidebar and navigate to the Banks tab at the top.

Click Connect Live Bank Feeds to get started.

Step 2 — Enter the Client's Email

A Connect Bank Feed dialogue will open. Enter your client's email address and click Send Email.

Ezyiah sends a secure connection request directly to your client. They review the request and approve access through their bank. You will be notified as soon as the connection is complete.

Note: You do not need to be present when your client approves. The connection happens on their end and the bank accounts appear in Ezyiah automatically once approved.

Step 3 — Bank Accounts Connected

Once your client approves, all of their connected bank accounts appear in the Banks tab with a Live badge. Each account shows the account number, transaction count, and last sync time.

You can connect as many bank accounts as needed. Every plan includes unlimited live bank feeds.

Step 4 — Fetch Previous Transactions

To pull historical transactions into Ezyiah, click into any connected bank account. A Fetch Previous Data popup will appear automatically.

Select how far back you want to pull transactions from the dropdown:

  • Live Forward (from today)

  • 1 month back

  • 3 months back

  • 6 months back

  • 12 months back

  • 24 months back

Select your period and click Fetch.

Step 5 — Reconciliation Starts Automatically

Once you click Fetch, Ezyiah imports every transaction for the selected period and begins reconciling them immediately. You will see a success notification in the bottom right corner confirming how many transactions were reconciled.

Your transactions are now sorted by date and ready for review in the Chart of Accounts.

What Happens Next

  • Ezyiah reconciles every new transaction automatically each day going forward

  • All transactions are categorised against your Chart of Accounts with GST treatment applied

  • Exceptions are flagged for your review — everything else is handled

  • Your BAS, P&L, TPAR, Depreciation and Transactions Report are generated automatically from the reconciled data
